Designing an Aesthetic That Captures a Bistro’s Personality.

Brief

With an audacious plan for their flagship bistro, Fifty Eight approached us to design a maximalist aesthetic that aligned with their feel-good ethos. With the goal of energizing the brand to attract a younger demographic, we implimented a chic 60's inspired color palette with a light-hearted attitude.

The avant-garde typography and retro-inspired illustrated mascots helped evoke a playful tone that felt safe whilst feeling unapologetically fun. The resulting visual language helped position the cafe as an inclusive community space for socializing.
